Following his win at the All America Derby Championship Top Gun took runner-up in the grueling one hour qualifier and hour and a half callback the Invitational requires. Top Gun put on a strong performance both days showing that he is able to handle the endurance stakes. Tucker Johnson, Luke Eisenhart, and Sean Derrig are very proud of this dog taking top spot at the Pheasant Futurity this fall and finishing the season strongly.
With one find and a powerful All-Age race Top Gun defeated a field of 40 contenders. Running in 82 degree weather Top Gun and Sean Derrig put on a show for all who were riding. This win qualified him for the American Derby Invitational and half qualified Top Gun for the National Champion. He made owner Tucker Johnson very proud.
Erin’s Brave Heart rakes up his second placement of the season in Columbus, Mississippi. Brace Heart had four excellent finds and a powerful race only to be edged out of the top spot in the final brace. He is really coming into his own during his first year of all-age competition and we expect bright things.
Owned by Allen Linder and handled by Luke Eisenhart Silver Wings put down an All-Age performance at Hoffman, NC. This is Silver Wing’s second placement of the season.
Erin’s Black Fury takes a step towards Ames topping a field of 48 for owner Tucker Johnson and handler Luke Eisenhart. Spec’s three find performance topped all other contenders. This is his second placement of the season, and makes him the fourth dog Luke Eisenhart has half qualified since beginning his All-Age career this summer.
Erin’s Dog Soldier garners runner-up in the Tar Heel Championship for owner Bill Bruchey and hanlder Luke Eisenhart. Dog Soldier came back days later and won the Central Carolina All-Age Classic to get his first win towards qualifying for the National Championship.
Erin’s Broken Arrow takes first step towards Ames for owner Tom Downs and handler Luke Eisenhart. Bo’s two find performance topped all others including Whiskey River. Whiskey River requalified for Ames with a second place for owner handler Sean Derrig. Erin’s Little Drifter took second in the derby stake for Sean Derrig.
Duke wins the International Pheasant Championship to requailify for the National Championship. Duke is following in his father’s footsteps, Erin’s Tin Soldier who has won this stake twice before an injury ended his career.
Erin’s Special Force and Erin’s Braveheart are the one two punch to for handler Luke Eisenhart. Taking first and second respecively in the Still Water Open All Age Classic this is Special Force’s and Luke’s first leg to qualifying for the National at Ames. Braveheart is a first year dog owned by Sean Derrig. Top Gun takes third for Owner Tucker Johnson in the derby stake.
