Legacy
The mark of a truly great sire is a dog that is able to make a contribution to the breed that is better than one’s self. Erin’s Bad River’s contribution to the sport is already being witnessed in the next generation as numerous offspring have produced another generation of champions. Joe is the grandsire to several champions including the 2014 Continental Champion. His offspring have solidified Joe a place in Field Trail history by continuing to carry his banner through future generations.
When looking at the criteria for election, a canine’s contribution to the sport is based upon performance and production. We believe Joe exemplifies the metrics of not only a successful performer but even more so as a stellar producer with a record that will continue to grow. Bad River’s contribution to the betterment of the breed will continue to be realized for many future generations to come.
